Mike Sanchez, an Arvin High School graduate from the Class of 1991, was a three-sport athlete competing in cross country, wrestling, and track. He went on to earn his associate degree from Bakersfield College in 1998 before completing a B.A. in Liberal Studies at CSU Bakersfield in 2003. Sanchez began his coaching career at Arvin High, where he coached for two years, then spent five years at Highland High School. His coaching journey also includes long-standing involvement with Bakersfield College, where he first began coaching in 1994.
