2026-2027 Cheer Evaluation Form

Who are we?BC Cheerleaders are proud ambassadors of our institution, Bakersfield College. We are a staple on campus and throughout the community, actively representing BC at college and city-wide events.

All individuals trying out are expected to be model citizens—ready to embrace the responsibility of being an active, committed, and accountable athlete on a collegiate team.

Who is eligible to try out and what are the requirements?

-Graduating seniors, current or incoming Bakersfield College students

-Have a current 2.0 GPA (or passing)

-Plan to be a full-time BC student for the 2026-2027 school year (12 units) can be online as well

-Cheer for the duration of the entire season (May - May)

-Have the ability to purchase your uniform and pay a camp fee (fundraising available!)

-Cheer IS a PHED class, if you make the team, you are required to be registered in our class(es)

Summer/Fall/Spring: Tuesdays/Thursdays 1:00-4:00 pm. Cheer at all football games, home basketball games and other athletic event. Cheer at college and community events.
