Men's Soccer Wins on the Road over Glendale

BAKERSFIELD, CA - In a tightly contested match, the Bakersfield men's soccer team persistence paid off as they edged out the Glendale College Vaqueros with a late-game goal to claim a 1-0 victory.

However, BC continued to control possession, outshooting Glendale 8-9 and earning six more shots on target. Bakersfield's relentless offensive finally found its mark in the 88th minute, when Luis Gil, assisted by Jovanny Salazar, netted the game-winner with a well-placed shot past Glendale's goalkeeper.

With the win, men's soccer moves to 9-5-4 on the season and 3-1-1 in conference. BC will host Citrus College for the start of the second half of conference play Friday, November 1st at 4:00pm.
