Bakersfield, CA – The Bakersfield College Baseball Team hosted Allan Hancock College Saturday afternoon in the final game of a two-game at Gerry Collis Field and came away with a 5-0 loss.
David Villegas got the start on the mound with a six inning start, strucking out four while surrendering two runs.
Unfortunately, the Bulldogs blanked Bakersfield at home. Two of the five runs came early in the third inning, another from the 8th and the final two in the 9th inning.
With the loss, BC drops to 4-8 overall.
The Renegades will be back at home for a three-game series against Golden West, Thurs. (2/24) at 6pm.
