The Bakersfield College baseball (19-19, 13-5) team was defeated by LA Mission 5-4 on Saturday. Leading 4-2 going to the bottom of the ninth inning, BC was unable to hang on.  Andrew Scheinelt hit a three run, pinch hit home run off of Nathan Ortiz (5-4) with two out to send the Renegades to defeat.  Zach Williams led the BC offense going 2-5 at the plate with two home runs. two RBI and two runs scored.  Ryan Darbee went 1-2 with an RBI and a run scored and Brycin Hernandez was 1-3 with an RBI.

BC dropped into a first place tie with LA Pierce with two games remaining in the regular season.

Tha baseball team will host  LA Valley on Thursday, April 26th at 3:00 PM.  This will be the last regular season home game of the year.
