The Bakersfield College baseball team split a pair of games with LA Pierce on Friday. In game one, a continuation of Thursday's game that was shortened by darkness, the Renegades scored a run in the top of the 12th inning to get the win 10-9. Ashanti Ross was 3-7, with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored, Joe Pineda was 2-6 with 3 RBI and Tim Billingsley had a hit, 2 RBI and scored a run. FRank Villasenor (2-1) got the win.
In the second game, LA Pierce beat BC 11-8. Tthe teams combined for 19 runs on 36 hits. Brycin Hernandez was 2-4 with 2 RBI and 2 Runs scored, Kyle Willman was 3-5 with an RBI and 2 runs scored and Ryan Darbee had a hit and 2 RBI.
The Renegades are now (8-14, 3-3) on the season.
The baseball team returns to the field tomorrow at LA Pierce. First pitch is scheduled for 2:30 PM.
