The Bakersfield College Baseball team (6-3) topped Golden West College (7-2) by the score of 8-2 Thursday in Huntington Beach.
Luis Martinez led the Renegades with a 3 for 5 performance at the plate, where he was a triple short of the cycle and drove in three runs.
Harrison Smith went 2-4 with a double and two RBI, while Brock Hallum went 2 for 3 with an RBI.
Monty Stevens picked up his third win of the season by giving up only two runs over eight innings.
The Renegades will play Golden West Friday and Saturday in Huntington Beach.
