He returned to coaching the defensive line while maintaining his special teams role through 2014. Beyond the Field

A Bakersfield native, Damron was inspired to enter coaching by watching his grandfather and father serve as mentors in their own communities. Today, he sees coaching as a calling, not just to build winning programs, but to shape young men into strong, truth-seeking individuals.

“Watching boys become men, and getting to see them put childish ways behind them—that’s the most rewarding part of coaching.”

He hopes all of his student-athletes leave the program understanding one key principle:

“Truth is not relative. It can be found.”

Personal Life

Seth Damron is a family man at heart. He married his high school sweetheart, Danica, in 2011. Together, they have three children: a daughter named Windsor and two sons, Deacon and Barrett.

Outside of football, he’s an active member of Sovereign Grace Church and enjoys fishing and hunting—especially when a friend offers up a secret spot.
