HUNTINGTON, CA—The Renegade Cross Country team traveled to Huntington Beach for its fourth meet of the season, the Golden West Central Park Classic, on Friday, September 21st. 

The women finished 5th as a team overall on the four-mile course. The highest women's finisher was sophomore Jasmine Vasquez, who placed 9th overall at 20:35, while teammate Kaitlyn Valdez took 20th place with a time of 21:28. 17 teams were in attendance with 144 racers.

The Renegades will next compete at the SoCal Preview which was originally scheduled for September 13th at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga due to the fires in the area. The race will begin at 10:00 am on October 4th.
