MONTEREY PARK, CA - The Bakersfield College women's wrestling team closed out its season in impressive fashion at the 3C2A State Championship, hosted at East Los Angeles College. With just five Renegades making the trip, three athletes placed, and two earned All-American honors, marking a strong finish to the 2025 season. BC finished 7th out of 16 as a team. 

All-American Renegades:

Celia Esquivel continued her dominant season, finishing as the State Runner-Up in the 103 lb weight class and earning All-American recognition.

Shanaria Killebrew capped her breakout season with a 3rd place finish at 180 lbs, also earning All-American honors for her performance.

Leslie De Anda battled through a tough bracket to take 4th place at 110 lbs, finishing just shy of All-American status but making a significant impact in her first state tournament appearance.

This concludes the 2025 women's wrestling season, one filled with progress, podium finishes, and All-American accolades.
