MOUNT SAN ANTONIO, CA - The Bakersfield College women's wrestling team traveled to the Mt. SAC Open on Saturday. BC came away with several wins, with all four wrestlers who represented the Renegades placed in the top four. 

 

103 lbs Division

• 1st Place: Celia Esquivel (Bakersfield College)

• 1st Place Match: Celia Esquivel won by fall over Jenelle Gozun (Mt. San Antonio College) (Fall 4:39)

110 lbs Division

• 3rd Place: Leslie De Anda (Bakersfield College)

• 3rd Place Match: Leslie De Anda won by tech fall over Anika Del Castillo (Mt. San Antonio College) (TF 10-0)

180 lbs Division

• 4th Place: Shanaria Killebrew (Bakersfield College)

• 3rd Place Match: Isabella Pacheco (Cerritos College) won by decision over Shanaria Killebrew (Dec 1-1)

Bakersfield College wrestlers showcased their talent, with Celia Esquivel taking home the championship in the 103 lbs division, dominating her opponents. Leslie De Anda secured a podium finish at 110 lbs, while Shanaria Killebrew put up a strong fight in the 180 lbs bracket.
