LONG BEACH CITY, CA - The Bakersfield College Renegades closed out their 2024 season with a hard-fought loss to the Long Beach Vikings in a three-set match (21-25, 9-25, 24-26). Despite a strong offensive showing from standout performers Stevie Yursik and Alexandra Watts, who combined for 23 kills, Bakersfield struggled with consistency and errors. Yursik led the way with 13 kills on .344 hitting, while Watts added 10 kills at a blistering .476 clip.
The Renegades end their season proud of their fight, with hopes for brighter campaigns ahead.
BC ended the season with a few conference awards while Stevie Yursik was named Player of the Year in the Western State Conference.
