BAKERSFIELD, CA - On Sophomore Night, the Bakersfield College volleyball team defeated the Glendale College Vaqueros in four sets (19-25, 25-20, 25-12, 25-12) in a thrilling home match on Friday. Despite dropping the first set 19-25, the Renegades quickly regrouped, claiming the next three sets with dominant scores.

BC's offensive efforts were led by Stevie Yursik, who tallied 14 kills with a .323 hitting percentage, along with four aces and 12 digs. Kamryn Briggs contributed 11 kills and 16 digs, while Alexandra Watts added 10 kills. Taylor Drake commanded the setting duties, providing 19 assists, and Chloe Comstock added to the serving attack with five aces and ten digs.

Defensively, Bakersfield had a strong showing, totaling 61 digs and 12 block assists, led by Carly Hayes with four blocks. BC's balanced team effort lifted them to an impressive home win, moving them to 14-9 for the season.
