BC Women's Tennis lost a nailbiter at home against undefeated conference foe Glendale College and gave the Vaqueros everything they could handle Tuesday afternoon.

After singles play the score was tied 3-3.

Glendale swept #'s 1-3 but BC came back and swept 4-6 with Kaylee Defrees, Lucy Cisneros and Claire Tomboc all winning in straight sets.

When it came time to play doubles, BC came up just a little bit short.

#1 doubles team Riley Tucker and Kaylee Defrees beat Glendales #1 team of Viktoriya Shumakova and Meredy Gharabegi 8-4. Kaylee and Riley have only played twice together at the #1 position and have come up big with 2 wins.

#2 and #3 doubles played great but came up short, losing 8-2.

"Even though Glendale was at the top of the conference leaderboard and undefeated, the attitude of the lady Gades was fierce and they came in ready to win. Big effort by the team and they will carry that momentum into tomorrow's non conference match against an undefeated Folsom Lake team and then on Thursday for a conference battle at Antelope Valley," Coach Nick Laudermilk said.
