BAKERSFIELD, CA - In the final regular season match at home, the Bakersfield College women's soccer team defeated West LA with a hard-fought 1-0 win. Freshman Alexandra Gallardo delivered the decisive moment in the 18th minute, capitalizing on a scoring opportunity to put the BC ahead with an unassisted goal.

The Renegades dominated the offensive side, outshooting West LA 13-4, with 12 shots on target compared to West LA's three. Goalkeeper Mercedes Ramirez made three saves to preserve the shutout.

With the win, BC finished the regular season 7-10-4.
