BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College wrestling program would like to announce the commitment of sophomore Eathon Rider to California State University of Bakersfield (CSUB).  

Rider will continue his collegiate athletic career on the wrestling team for the Roadrunners under the direction of head coach Luke Smith. Cal State Bakersfield is a Division I program that plays in Pac-12 Conference.

"Eathon has been an excellent student of wrestling. With an outstanding work ethic and an excellent academic record, Eathon became a team captain on the 2021 and 2022 BC wrestling teams and a 2X academic All-American. As Eathon moves on to the next level, his presence in the BC wrestling room will be greatly missed. Congratulations Eathon!"
