Danny Lopez took second place at 149 pounds to lead Bakersfield College to a 4th place finish at the Southern California Regional Tournament at Mount San Antonio College Saturday.

"We finished 4th and ahead of everyone in our conference, so that's a good feeling. And seven guys are going to State," BC Coach Bret Clark said.

First through sixth place finishers qualified for the State Tournament, while seventh place finishers are alternates.

BC Wrestling will compete at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships in Fresno December 11th through December 13th.
