BAKERSFIELD, CA—The women's golf team season has begun under the direction of new head coach Nick Kaiser. The Renegades have competed in two Western State Conference matches. Below are individual results from the team. 

WSC #1 @ Olivas Links Golf Club (Hosted by College of the Canyons)

"It's been a great start to the season. The ladies have been working extremely hard. It's a very tough golf course to start the season. There were some first-tournament jitters, but they played hard. They have lots to work on, and they are up to the challenge," said Kaiser.

"It was an unusually warm day in Santa Barbara.  Ladies battled hard in a very unusual course compared to Bakersfield Golf.  Jenna Brooks was the standout, improving her previous score by 11 shots.  We got a good plan on what to work on in practice the upcoming week."

Bakersfield will continue its season on the road with a golf match at Sterling Hills Country Club.
