BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College women's basketball team struggled offensively against conference-leading Glendale, falling 76-28 at home in the Gil Bishop Sports Center. The Renegades had a tough night from the field, shooting just 25.6% overall and 6.3% from beyond the arc. Zaila Marquez led Bakersfield with 10 points and five rebounds, while Jocelyn Pope grabbed a team-high nine boards. Despite strong defensive efforts, the Renegades couldn't keep up with Glendale's efficiency, as the Vaqueros dominated the paint (38 points) and capitalized on turnovers with 21 points. Bakersfield looks to regroup as they prepare for their next matchup.
Women's basketball has one more home game before the season ends and will honor their sophomores on February 21st against Canyons with tip-off at 5:00 pm.
