FRESNO, CA - The Bakersfield College men's cross-country team placed seventh out of 24 teams at the 3C2A State Championships and concluded their best season so far.
The highest men's finisher was sophomore Jacob Perez, who placed 3rd overall at 20:50. Perez is the highest men's finisher in the last 10 years at Bakersfield College for the men's cross-country team.
The rest of the men's team results were as follows: Atzin Anguiano, 32nd, 21:42.44, Sergio Lizarraga, 34th, 21:44.04, Robert Chavez 79th, 22:29.44, and Jacob Nungaray, 90th, 22:33.14 completed BC's scoring. Also running for BC were Alexis Aguilar, 114th, 22:55.74 and Richard Rangel 121th, 22:59.84. Their finish times helped the team secure 7th place.
