VENTURA, CA - The Renegade Cross Country team traveled to Ventura for their second meet of the season at the Pirate Invitational on Friday, August 30th at Arroyo Verde Park. 

The Men finished 1st as a team overall, making it their second first-place finish on the season with a total time of 1:53:23 on the four-mile course. The highest men's finisher was sophomore Jacob Perez, who placed 1st overall at 21:29, while teammate Atzin Anguiano took 5th place with a time of 22:19.
