
LOS ANGELES, CA - The Bakersfield College men's cross-country team finished first and became Western State Conference Champions for the first time since 1993! The team finished with a time of 1:51:05.
Bakersfield had five individuals take the top seven spots in the four-mile race. Nathanael Rodriguez, who has led the team all season, led the way for the Renegades with a final time of 21:49.9 followed by teammate Jacob Perez (21:58.4), who came in as runner-up. Rodriguez was the champion runner out of over 100 runners.
BC's top seven finishers received First Team All-Conference honors. The state office will announce official qualifiers for the SoCal Championship event.
