BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College swim hosted a successful WSC #3 meet on Friday, March 28th, with the men's team taking first place overall and the women finishing a strong second. The Renegades dominated multiple events, securing several individual wins and relay victories.
Audrey Vickers shined in the 1650 Free, while Cody Hart sprinted to a win in the 50 Free. Emi Ibarra had an outstanding performance, capturing first in both the 200 Breaststroke and 200 Fly. David Hernandez added to the success with a victory in the 200 Back.
Bakersfield's relay teams also delivered, with the men claiming first in the 400 Medley, 400 Free, and 800 Free Relays. On the women's side, the Renegades secured second-place finishes in all three relay events, showcasing their depth and teamwork.
In addition to event winners, multiple Renegades secured top-five finishes, contributing valuable points to the team's overall success. With a strong showing in the pool, Bakersfield continues to prove itself and improve. They will host a tri-meet with Cuesta, Fresno and Allan Hancock on Saturday, April 5th.
