
EL CAMINO, CA - The Bakersfield College swim teams put on an impressive performance at the 2025 El Camino Invite, sweeping both the men's and women's team titles in a highly competitive field. The unique meet format challenged swimmers across three distances within their chosen category, with the fastest cumulative time determining the overall champion. The Renegades delivered dominant individual performances and strong relay finishes to secure the top spots.
Women's Team: 1st Place
The BC women's team left the meet with two overall category champions, two runner-up finishes, and a third-place finisher. The 200 Medley and 200 Free Relay teams also secured second-place finishes.

Men's Team: 1st Place
The BC men's team were unstoppable, claiming three individual category championships and setting multiple meet and pool records. The 200 Freestyle Relay team capped off the event with a historic swim, setting a new meet and pool record. Cody Hart was the standout performer, breaking records in all three of his individual events. Emi Ibarra also shattered the 100 Butterfly record and narrowly missed the 200 Butterfly mark.
