Men's Soccer Win 8-2 over Glendale

BAKERSFIELD, CA. - The Bakersfield College men's soccer team picked up a big win at home on sophomore day against Glendale College on Tuesday afternoon.

The Renegades started the scoring frenzy early after a pass from Adrian Sotelo & Jesus Cortez led James Meecham to score in the first four minutes of play.  Jordee Magana doubled the lead with a goal in the 39th minute before Magana added another right before the halftime whistle.

Magana registered two more goals for Bakersfield in the 54th minute and 58th minute before Glendale found the back of the net in the 73rd. Jason Pimentel set up teammate Rodrigo Rios to add another goal for BC in the 79th minute. Magana and Pimentel wrapped scoring efforts in the second frame with goals in the 83rd and 87th minute, while Glendale added one more between that to end the game 8-2. 

BC dominated the possession opportunities with a 20-6 shot advantage.

Next for the Renegades, they play their final conference game on Friday, November 8th, against Antelope Valley at 5 PM.
