BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Renegade Men's Soccer team hosted the College of the Desert Roadrunners at the BC Soccer Field on Tuesday afternoon and dropped a tough 4-0 decision.

The first forty-five minutes were quiet, as the first half stayed scoreless. Unfortunately, for BC, COD was just warming up. The Roadrunners managed to get a goal past the Renegades in the first five minutes of the second half and twice within 10 minutes of each other. College of the Desert got their insurance goal in the final five minutes of play to end the game 4-0. 

Bakersfield has two close shots, with forward Joshua Bryant getting a chance in the center in the 69th minute but would kick the ball with too much force to go over the net. Another close chance came from teammate Jordee Magana in the 72nd minute when he nearly missed the shot by hitting the top of the cross-bar from the left corner.  

With the loss, the Renegades moved to 0-3-1 on the season. Up next, they host Cerritos College at 4:00 PM this Friday (09/08).
