BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Renegade Men's Soccer team hosted the Norco City College Mustangs at the BC Soccer Field on Friday afternoon and dropped a tough 2-0 decision.

The Mustangs came out to play and netted a goal in the first 10 minutes of the game. BC was able to pick up their defense despite Norco's high ball possession to keep them from scoring again in the first half.

The next thirty-five minutes both teams took their shots but it would be the Mustangs again to find the back of the net.

As a team, BC had14 shots, while Norco took 15. Goalkeeper Hairo Rodriguez made a few key saves and ended the game with six saves. 

With the loss, the Renegades moved to 0-2-1 on the season. Up next, they host College of the Desert at 4:00 PM this Tuesday (09/5).
