Bakersfield, CA – The Renegade Men's Soccer team hosted the nationally ranked El Camino College Warriors at the BC Soccer Field on Tuesday afternoon and dropped a tough 1-0 decision.
The Renegades played a strong defensive first half and while they didn't net a goal, BC goalkeeper Armando Alvares made a few key saves of Warrior shots in the box to keep them off the board.
The second half remained scoreless until the 81st minute when El Camino brought a ball across the BC box and found the net to break the tie.
With the loss, the Renegades move to 5-5-1 on the season. Up next, they host Santa Monica College at 2pm this Friday (10/4).
