The Bakersfield College Men's Soccer team (1-4-1) will host Allan Hancock College (2-3-1) at 7p in historic Memorial Stadium as they attempt to rebound from a sticky section of scheduling that has pushed the first-year team into competition against some of the top squads in the state. 

The Renegades are coming off losses to Consumnes River, American River, and Santa Barbara, on the road. 

"The frustrating thing is, this team is coming together. They are making improvements every week and they are coming together. But unfortunately, that isnt' showing up on the scorecard. But the coaches see it, and we believe we will continue to see improvements," Coach Vayron Martinez said. 

BC faces a Hancock team that is also hungry for a win; they are coming off a loss and a tie (lost to College of Southern Nevada 3-0, tied Utah State University Eastern 1-1) at a tournament in Southern Nevada. 

BC will face the #1 ranked team in the state (Fresno City College) and the defending state champion in Oxnard over the next two weeks.
