WSC Championship Recap – Crystalaire Country Club
This past Monday, the Bakersfield College Men's Golf Team wrapped up the 2024 team season at the WSC Championship held at Crystalaire Country Club. The format was a grueling 36-hole day, all walking, on a tough course that tested every part of our game.
Bakersfield posted a team score of 420 in the first round, followed by a 437 in the afternoon round. It was a long day of competition in challenging conditions, but the team battled from start to finish and represented BC with pride.
A big highlight was sophomore Luke Dickinson punching his ticket to the Southern California Regionals as an individual qualifier. Head coach Nick Kaisers says, "He's been a steady leader all season, and it's great to see his hard work pay off." Teammate Logan Stone also had a strong showing and will serve as the 1st alternate for Regionals.
This marks the end of our team competition for the year. Kaiser is proud," We didn't reach every goal we set, the growth, effort, and determination from this group of guys was something to be proud of."
