Men's Golf Competes at WSC 4

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Renegades battled challenging conditions and a strong field at WSC #4, held at Santa Maria Country Club. With temperatures hovering around 55 degrees, 25 mph wind gusts, and thick rough throughout the course, the team faced one of the toughest tests of the season so far.

Despite the adversity — including the absence of our Team Captain and #1 player — Bakersfield College posted a team score of 410, finishing 6th out of 8 teams on the day.

Freshman Landon Brown led the way for the Renegades, carding a solid 78 in the difficult conditions, showing poise and maturity beyond his years.

While the result wasn't what the team hoped for, the experience gained under these demanding circumstances will only help the squad grow stronger as the season progresses. BC will look to bounce back at their host event at Rio Bravo Country Club on Monday March 10th and continue working toward their postseason goals.
