BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College men's golf team kicked off the season with a strong performance in their first scrimmage against Taft Junior College at Rio Bravo Country Club on Friday, January 24th.
With its extremely fast greens, the challenging course put our skills to the test, but they rose to the occasion, securing a decisive victory with a team score of 415 to Taft's 463. Luke Dickenson led the way as the low player of the day, shooting an impressive 79 under tough conditions. Head coach, Nick Kaiser says, "This match was a great start to our season and provided valuable experience as we prepare for the competition ahead."
