The Bakersfield College Men's basketball team kept things interesting in winning their conference opener 86-80 over Citrus College Wednesday night. 

Deandre Dickson led the Renegades with 28 points and 12 rebounds on 9-11 shooting from the floor. 

Point guard Jameik Riviere chipped in 20 points and six assists. Riviere leads the state with 7.9 assists per game, one assists per game over the second place holder. 

The Renegades have their home conference opener on January 9th at 5pm against Canyons in the Gil Bishop Sports Center.
