The Bakersfield College Renegades football team will make their official public debut in Memorial Stadium at 6p Friday, August 26th...for the low, low, cost of FREE!!

"We are all excited to see what they look like against another opponenet," Athletic Director Sandi Taylor said in reference to the team's recent scrimmage, "They looked good last Saturday, but it's always different when you take on the unknown." 

The Renegades return two dynamic sophomores in QB Dalton Gallis and slot receiver Derrick Vickers. 

Vickers returns after a year long hiatus that saw him focusing on rehabilitating an injury, and if his physical appearance and recent scrimmage performance are any indication, fans have plenty to be excited about. 

While score won't be kept during the officially sanctioned scrimmage, athletes on both sides will still be competing for playing time and starting spots, so it's hardly an exhibition. 

Gates open at 5p, with kickoff scheduled for 6p.
