HOMECOMING HEROICS?

Can BC pull away from Moorpark to notch their first "W" of the season?

The Bakersfield College Renegades (0-6, 0-2) find themselves in a unique position of being halfway through October without a win, but they haven't given up the fight.

They've suffered narrow lossers over the last three games, twice giving up fourth-quarter leads and losing by two scores or less in all three games.

Moorpark (1-4, 0-1) brings a tough running game to the table. Nicolas Loftin, Christian Hammack, and Isaiah Johnson have all rush for sixty yards in a game this season, with Johnson and Loftin both hitting the century mark.

But Renegade freshman quarterback Dalton Gallis seems to have found a rythym with West High product David Ross, and they've hooked up on big-play touchdowns in the last two games while Ross racked up 100 yards on both days.  Renegade coaches have put in sophomore Tare Yaeggi late in the last two games seemingly because Yaeggi knows the offense better than Gallis for the purposes of a two minute drill.

Homecoming Parade starts at 4:45pm and will wind through the center of campus past the Fireside room on the way to the tailgating area. The "Gamecation Mobile Video Game Trailer" will be on the concourse next to several bounce houses, and are free to all admitted children with the singing of a liability waiver.
