BAKERSFIELD, CA - Renegade Athletics is proud to announce the final Athletes of the Week of the 2024-25 season this week (05/06/25 - 05/12/24):

Jacob Perez (Sophomore) Men's Track and Field

Jacob Perez has been named the final Athlete of the Week after earning his spot as Bakersfield College’s lone state qualifier in track and field. Perez punched his ticket to the 3C2A State Championships in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, placing 5th at the SoCal Championships at 9:49.66. This achievement is significant for Perez, who came up just short of qualifying last year and was ultimately sidelined due to injury. Now healthy and determined, he's set to make his mark on the state stage.

After this weekend, track and field will conclude its season.
