BAKERSFIELD, CA - Renegade Athletics is proud to announce the Athletes of the Week of the 2024-25 season this week (03/18/25 - 03/24/24):

Robert Chavez (Sophomore) Men's Track and Field

Robert Chavez had an awesome meet over the weekend at the WSC Coastal Inland meet. Chavez took third in the 1500m out of 21 athletes and was the highest placer to represent BC in that event. He also recorded a personal best in the 1500m. The sophomore also placed third in the 3000M event out of 16 other runners. 

Hannah Kratt (Sophomore) Women's Tennis

Hannah Kratt went 7-1 during the week in singles and doubles. The sophomore helped her team get a much-needed win on Thursday when she faced BC's toughest conference competitor so far this season, Santa Barbara. Kratt won her singles match in a two-hour showdown, 6-2, 7-6, 10-8. BC is currently undefeated on the season and are Western State Conference Champion.

Tennis will take a much-needed rest after going undefeated on the season while preparing to start playoffs on April 8th. Conference individuals will begin next Tuesday, April 1st. Track and field will take a rest weekend before getting back to it next Friday, April 4h when they travel to Moorpark.
