BAKERSFIELD, CA - Renegade Athletics is proud to announce the Athletes of the Week, this week (02/07-02/13):

Tearra Haney(Sophomore) Women's Track and Field

Tearrra Haney placed first in four events over the weekend for the Battle of the Regions hosted by Bakersfield College. The sophomore is currently ranked #1 in the state in the shot put, #1st in the state in the javelin, #2nd in the state in the discus, and #6th in the state in the hammer. Last year, Haney qualified for the State Championships and hoping to make a repeat. 

Malik Bolton (Freshman) Men's Track and Field

Malik Bolton won the 400 meters and was on the 4 x400 relay team. The Freshman's 400-meter time has ranked him #2nd in the state and the 4 x 400 tie is ranked #5th in the state. 

Track and field will travel to the WSC Relays on February 17th at Ventura College.
