BAKERSFIELD, CA - Renegade Athletics is proud to announce the of Athletes of the Week, this week’s (01/31-02/06):

Kiana Lua (Freshman) Women's Tennis

Kiana is a freshman from Liberty Highschool and is already taking her spot on the BC tennis squad. In her first match against Glendale College she won her doubles match with teammate Hannah Purvis in a tie breaker game and finished 6-1,6-2 in her singles match. The following day she wrapped her first week with a singles win, 6-1, 6-3 against Orange Coast College.

Dusten Henderson (Sophomore) Men's Basketball

Dusten scored a season high of 23 points against West LA at home, although the team lost Henderson went 9-18 in field goals and finished the game with the most points. The sophomore guard has averaged 10.4 points a game.

Men’s basketball is wrapping up their season with two more road games before their final home game next Wednesday, February 15^th for their sophomore night. Women’s tennis will head for a road match before playing four home matches next week.
