On the strength of three first half goals, the Cerritos College men's soccer team extended their winning streak to three games with a 3-2 win at Bakersfield College on Friday. The Falcons (3-3-1) will look to extend their streak on Tuesday when they travel to Los Angeles Pierce College for a 6:00 p.m. match.

With 14 goals under their belt over the last three games, the Falcons continued their hot scoring, with freshman Jose Lopez (MY Academy HS) getting the team on the board first in the 10th minute. They didn't waste much time adding to their total, as freshman Miguel Gonzalez scored his second goal of the season seven minutes later.

Leading scorer Donavan Perez (South East HS) put his fifth shot into the back of the net in the 29th minute, which turned out to be the winning goal.

Sophomore goalkeeper Juan Pablo Camacho (Norwalk HS) posted his second win of the season after turning away five shots in the victory.
