HOT DAY IN BAKERSFIELD LANDS VICTORY

The Hornets earned their second straight win of the young season today bringing down Bakersfield on the road 2-1.

In one of the hottest days of the year, FC scored early in the 11th minute on a shot by Misael Gonzalez. Aldo Ramirez was credited with the assist.

The Hornets took a 2-0 lead in the 37th minute when Misael Gonzalez struck again knocking back his fourth goal in two games. The assist came in from Hayden Kenny.

At just a minute into the second half, the Renegades cut into Fullerton's lead with a goal by Jordee Magana. In excellent shape, the Hornet defense held strong in the heat for the remainder of the match.

FC goal keeper Ryan Moreno-Rojas logged in 90 minutes and put in some work with 8 saves. 

Up Next: The Hornets (2-0 overall) will play in the Mt. SAC Tournament on Friday, September 1st (West Valley at 8pm) and Sunday, September 3rd.
