The Bakersfield College Women's Soccer Team (6-3-2)  had a three-game winning streak broken by Fresno City College (7-2-1) in Memorial Stadium Tuesday night.

BC gave up an early goal to Fresno City when Alyssa Damian found Leila Monzon with a clean pass that Monzon converted into a goal at the 7:30 mark.

Despite several tries, that was the last goal until Anissa Wilson scored on a penalty kick as time expired.

But the game marked the return of sophomore goalkeeper Alondra Villa, who made her first appearance of the season after missing the first games with injuries.

"It feels good to be out here, and I'm just happy to be helping the team," Villa said, "But to be sure, we have depth at goalkeeper, and they've done a great job out there," Villa said.
