Amelia Lopez has scored four goals in BC's first two games of the season, including a nifty hat trick in tonight's 5-0 win over West Hills-Lemoore.

Amelia Lopez scored three goals to lead Bakersfield College Women's Soccer to a 5-0 win over West Hills-Lemoore in their home opener Friday at Memorial Stadium.

"I think we have a pretty balanced attack, so it's hard for other teams to concentrate on more than one person and that's what is giving teams fits right now."

Lopez was the second leading scorer as a Freshman and has four goals in just two games this season.

"She's a great student as well as athlete, if she keeps taking care of what she needs to take care of, I think she will have opportunities. But again, this is a balanced team, so I think she isn't alone."

The Renegades have scored nine goals in their first two games this season.

BC Women's Soccer plays again at home this Friday at 7p against Clovis Community College.
