WOMEN'S BASKETBALL GOES 1-2

The Bakersfield College women's basketball team went 1-2 at the Bristol Market Classic, this past weekend.  On day one of the tournament the Renegades defeated Cosumnes River 56-48.  Octavia Croney led BC with 23 points, while Angie Kroeger had 13 rebounds and Brianna Mendez recorded a double-double, with 12 points and 11 rebounds. 

On Friday, the Renegades lost to Merced 90-44.  Octavia Croney led Bakersfield College in scoring with 15 points and Angie Kroeger led the team in rebounds with 11.

BC was defeated, again, on Saturday, falling to Santa Ana 77-59.  Three Renegades scored in double figures, led by Octavia Croney with 20 points.  Angie Kroeger added 17 points and 8 rebounds and Bianca Zamora chipped in 10 points.

The women's basketball team will be on the road, this Thursday, at Taft College for a 6 PM tip.  They will return home on Saturday, December 9th, when they host Mt. San Jacinto at 6 PM.
