The Bakersfield College Women's Basketball Team (10-7) bounced back from a disappointing loss in round one to Hancock by running roughshod over Cuesta College (11-7) in the Joe White Memorial Gym Saturday.

Kennedy Nielson led all scorers with 32 points, and MacKenzie te Velde racked up yet another double-double down low with 13 points and 14 rebounds, but the most dynamic performance may have come from Octvia Croney.

The freshman forward scored 20 points on 10 of 15 shooting from the field, and flirted with a triple double the hard way when she pulled down 10 rebounds and swiped a whopping eight balls from the Cougars.
