SOFTBALL DROPS TWO GAMES AGAINST TOP RANKED TEAMS

The BC softball team went on the road to face San Mateo, ranked #1 in the state and Ohlone, ranked #5 in the state on Saturday.  The Renegades fell short in both games, losing 4-0 to San Mateo and 1-0 to Ohlone in extra innings.

In  game one against San Mateo, Kylee Fahy gave up four runs on six hits, while striking out five.  The Renegades were limited to two hits and four base runners for the game.  Priscilla Leos had a hit and a walk, Jordan Jimenez had a hit and Kylee Fahy had a walk.  

In the second game versus Ohlone, the Renegades didn't have much more success at the plate.  BC was only able to get six base runners, on two hits and four walks.  Jordan Jimenez and Yesenia Saldana had the two hits for the Renegades.  Kylee Fahy (26-5) took the loss.  She threw nine innings, giving up one run on five hits, while striking out eleven.

The softball team will be back in action on Thursday, April 19th, at 2:30 PM when they travel to Cuseta.
