The Bakersfield College Softball Team (10-10, 6-3) let Ventura (13-6, 6-3) pull even in the conference standings with an 8-3 home loss Thursday.
Alexis Solis got the start for the Renegades, but she didn't get much run support, and was relieved by McKenna Valencia.
Valencia hit a two-run homer late in her own support, but it wasn't enough to spark a rally for the Renegades.
BC hosts a doubleheader against Santa Barbara on Tuesday, March 21st, with game one beginning at 1p.
