BC let one slip through their fingers against Allan Hancock on the road Tuesday.

Bakersfield College Softball (3-6, 1-1) Split todays Double Header with Alan Hancock College (7-2, 1-1) by winning the first game 5-3 and dropping the second 5-7 in an exciting nail-biter finish.

Coach Christie Hill and the Renegades enthusiasm was through the roof after winning the first game and they hoped that it would transition to game two.

 Unfortunately Hancock had other plans.

McKenna Valencia tried her best to close out Game two of the twinbill.

She found herself with Hancock runners in scoring position at econd and third with no outs in the top of the seventh inning. But Valencia struck out the next three batters to get out of the jam, and give BC's bats three more chances to make up the two run defecit.

But the Bulldog Bullpen held BC hitless, and carried them to the win.

BC plays next on Sunday, February 26th at Noon, when they host West Hills in a non-conference doubleheader at the Dean and Adah Gay Sports Complex.
