The Bakersfield College Cross Country Team hosted the WSC Preview Meet on Friday to rave reviews. 

Patrick Alvardo turned in the top time for the Bakersfield Men's team in the four mile run with a 22:00.34 that scored his team 19 points. 

But the attendees were very  pleased with the course and execution of the meet. 

"This was super. Great conditions, which no one can control, but the course was market so well. The times were reported in an orderly and timely fashion, and this is the way every meet should be run," Ventura Cross Country Coach Tony Veney said.
