The Bakersfield College Men's Tennis Team (4-9, 4-4) overcame injuries and illness and other obstaclesjust to take the court, but they couldn't overcome LA Pierce Thursday in a 6-3 road loss.
"Our #4 Mario Cabaloza had compulsory military training, so he wasn't able to be here," Coach Nick Jacobs said, "and then we had a couple of guys dealing with physical stuff, so I'm proud that we had enough guys to even compete."
BC beat Pierce 7-2 less than two weeks ago on March 4th, but it's been a long Spring already for Renegade Tennis.
"We've played seven or eight matches in ten days, and everyone is feeling the effects of it," Coach Jacobs said.
